Out Message Template

Unplanned absences happen. We all get sick, have family emergencies, or pets that decided to get into something they shouldn't have. It's unfortunate, but we can at least make it easier on our team and clients by making sure the department is prepared for anything that may arise in your absence.

Please include all of the following information when sending an "Out" message and be sure to CC your department manager and team lead. Include as much information as possible.

  • Scheduled calls that need to be rescheduled or covered
  • Time-sensitive work that needs to be set live or sent to a client for approval
  • Any other outstanding tasks that need to be completed that day to ensure a campaign runs smoothly

If you don't want to keep your calendar (or a picture of it) on your phone, make sure you're always checking on your next day before leaving. We will never require you to work while you're sick or out but it's your job to ensure your clients are taken care of and are getting the attention they need to be successful. The best way to do that is to keep on top of your own schedule and workload so that you can prepare your team for anything that might come up while you're out.
