Up for Grabs: Dealer Content
Up for Grabs Dealer Content inherently contains a few additional components not found in the typical UFG piece. This guide covers those components.
The Top of the Document
These are a few reminders to the writer (so they don’t need to worry about trying to remember this)
Word Count: After all the adding, removing, and editing, the final piece needs to be at least 450 words.
Unused Sections: If there is a section that does not apply to the given dealer, such as a paragraph on financing and the dealer does not offer financing, please put that section into the hyperlinked document. That way, Lyra can repurpose the written paragraph(s) for another dealer’s About Us page.
Delete the Section: Once the piece is ready to be submitted, the writer can delete the top section and the line underneath. The document should now start with the first sentence of the piece to be published on the website.
Example
Pre-Highlighted Word(s)
Just like with other Up for Grabs content, there will be pre-highlighted word(s) that will need to be updated with the specifics. For example, replace “dealership” with the dealership’s name.
Comments - Confirming
Comments are found anywhere a product/service/etc. is mentioned that a dealership may or may not offer. The comment reminds the writer to confirm that it is offered by a dealer (either through its mention on the Dealer Intake form or on the Dealer Website). For example, confirming the dealer offers both new and used products, they are family-owned, etc.
Comments - Potential Adding
There are also comments left for sections that may need to be added to the piece. This happens when the original Dealer Content piece does not include a given offering (such as a trade-in program or parts department), but the given dealer you are writing about does have that offering.
The comment will remind the writer to see if the dealer has that possible service and contains a link to that specific section in the Confluence document.
What Remains the Same
Just like all other Up for Grabs content, the writer will need to:
