Any combination of these resources could be used to make your About Us page.

The Process

  1. Open to the “9: DC” folder

  2. See if there is an About Us piece that matches the dealer’s vertical.

    1. If there is, move that to the dealer’s folder

    2. If there is not, see if there is one in the “Fix Me: new PP”.

      1. If there is, move that to the dealer’s folder

      2. If there is not, open the “1. Unused Sections” document.

        1. See if there are any usable sections in the “Any Vertical” section and the given vertical section. Copy and paste any usable sections into a new document in the dealer’s folder.

  1. Open all the UFG “About Us” pieces in the “9. DC” folder that match the dealer’s vertical

  2. Open all the UFG “About Us” pieces in the “Fix Me: New PP” folder that match the dealer’s vertical

  3. Open the “1. Unused Sections” twice

    1. In one document, go to the “Any Vertical” section

    2. In the other document, go to the section that matches the dealer’s vertical

  4. Then, pick the UFG piece from the “9. DC” folder that contains the most content. Use this as the base and move that document to the dealer’s folder.

  5. With that document open:

    1. Go to the toolbar at the top of the screen.

    2. Select “Tools”

    3. Select “Word Count”

    4. Check the box that says “Display Word Count While Typing”. This will make it more efficient to get to the minimally viable word count of 450-words (since you can see as you go how close you are to reaching that).
