  • Assigning Requests

In most cases, you will be picking normal priority content request from a pool and assigning it to yourself. High priority items (high priority requests, dealer approval items, first month requests, etc.) will be assigned to you by a senior team member, team lead, or manager.

    Assigning a Task to Yourself

Step 1: Click on the Fulfillment Task Name.

Step 2: Under the Basic Information section in the Fulfillment Task window, double-click Owner or click the surprised person icon on the right. The default owner is DS/ARI Content Team.

Step 3: Start typing your name in the search box.

    Step 4: Click your name.

You may uncheck the Send notification email checkbox if you wish. This feature is useful when you are assigning the task to another team member, not so much when you are assigning it to yourself.

    Step 5: Click Change Owner.

Assigning a Task to Someone Else

If a co-worker has agreed to take on a task you currently own, you may assign it to them or ask them to reassign it by using the steps above.

Putting the Fulfillment Task Back in the Pool

Should you find yourself unable to fulfill a task you assigned to yourself, you may put it back in the pool. However, the pool is a queue, not a user. Follow these steps to put the task back in the pool.

Step 1: Click on the Fulfillment Task Name.

Step 2: Under the Basic Information section, double-click Owner or click the surprised person icon on the right.

Step 3: Click the dropdown triangle next to the blue human icon and choose Queues.

Step 4: Type “Content” and choose DS/ARI Content Team.

    Step 5: Click Change Owner.
