Quarterly Reviews

LeadVenture initiates quarterly reviews to give employees and supervisors an opportunity to evaluate the performance of each employee. Below is a quick guide to understanding how the Content Team approaches quarterly reviews.

Resources

The training and general information provided by the company can be found on SharePoint. Relevant resources for the 2022 calendar year can be found below:

Review forms and procedures are carried out using ADP. You’ll find the form and where to submit it under Myself → Talent → Performance Dashboard.

Frequency

Reviews take place the month following the end of the quarter. Important dates specific to that cycle are communicated prior to the review.

Q1, Q2, and Q3 Reviews

The quarterly reviews following Q1, Q2, and Q3 are qualitative and brief. Each employee will review their performance using a handful of questions. More on that below.

All employees are eligible for a review following these time periods. Employees are eligible for promotions during these review cycles, but are not eligible for merit raises.

Q4 Review

The quarterly review following Q4 includes a quantitative analysis of an employee's performance and is a more intensive process. It allows the employee and their supervisor an opportunity to evaluate the employee’s performance in a more detailed and comprehensive way.

Some exclusions apply to the pool of employees eligible for a Q4 review. Employees receiving reviews are eligible for both promotions and merit raises during this review cycle.

Review Forms

The review form used in each cycle can be found in ADP (linked above). There is a lengthy, detailed form for the Q4 review and a similar, condensed version for the remaining quarterly reviews. The content-specific parameters for each question are as follows:

Questions Asked in All Reviews

Provide a list of both standard and personal goals.

Copy and paste the following for your standard goals:

  • Completing all assigned work by the 100% day for each month represented in this review.

  • Optional additional project work.

Under “Optional additional project work,” include all additional projects you worked on.

You may also list any additional personal goals and KPIs you feel do not fit within these parameters, or any additional goals and KPIs discussed with the team lead. This is not a required step and many writers will not have additional goals.

Provide an evaluative summary of your performance over the course of the time period specified in the review form. This should include:

  • A sentence or two stating whether you hit your 100% goals, if you did it on your own, and if you could have done it on your own (if you chose to hand off some of your work to writers looking for work).

  • Any notes on additional requests you filled on top of your assigned work.

  • A sentence or two on each project you contributed to and what you did.

Provide a sentence or two discussing one value you emulated and one value you can display more of. Use the following LeadVenture values to answer this question:

  • Be Accountable & Act with Integrity

  • Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience

  • Evolve & Adapt

  • Have Fun and Win Together

  • Unity
