Advertiser Verification Email Template (Active)

Re: [Dealership Name]

Hello [First Name],

I’m reaching out from [ Company] to let you know that Google has requested advertiser verification on your account in an effort to maintain ad content integrity and trustworthiness.

Per Google, advertisers are required to submit one of the following registration for advertiser identity verification. Acceptable documents include:

  • Any document, notice, or letter either issued by the IRS or stamped by the IRS that states your Organization's name. Some examples are CP575, 147C, CP299, 988, 937, 1050, 5822 etc. Forms submitted to the IRS will only be accepted if a copy of the form is available on the IRS website. Some examples are Forms 8871 and 990. See here (political organizations) and here (tax exempt organizations) for ways to search for your organization on the IRS website.

  • Certificate of Business Incorporation issued by the state where you conduct business activities that states your Organization name.

  • Your most recent SEC filing (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q or 8-K forms) that state the Organization name.

  • Business credit reports that state your Organization name from Experian, Equifax, TransUnion or Dun & Bradstreet.

Google has determined that you must submit one of the above documents by: [Month Day, Year i.e. July 4, 2022].

If you do not complete this process within Google’s timeframe, your ads will be indefinitely paused. Services will be restored once Google has verified you as an advertiser. For more information regarding this process, please refer to https://support.google.com/adspolicy/topic/9646537.

You may send your verification information directly to me by replying to this email. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
