Below is a guide that explains how we check weekly for sites that have gone live and are ready to begin SEO services, including SEO packages, PDM, and Reputation Management services. The assigned rep will look at the Backlog - All SEO - By Account | Salesforce report in Salesforce every Thursday, which is grouped first by the Account, and includes all SEO setup fulfillment requests that are currently in On Hold status related to each account:
Step 1: Click on the Account to view the client’s account information page.
Step 2: At the top of the Account page, you should see the client’s Website URL. Click on it.
Note: If there is no website URL listed at the top of the Account page, it is safe to assume that the website is not live.
Step 3: At the bottom of the client’s website, you should look for either the Dealer Spike logo, the NetDriven logo, or the ARI “Powered by Dealer Spike” line, depending on what brand the Fulfillment Type has listed. Examples:
DS:
ARI:
NetDriven:
This confirms that the client’s website is live, and the service can be fulfilled immediately. If you don’t see any indication that the website may belong to another provider, press CTRL + U on your keyboard to bring up the source console. Use CTRL + F to bring up the search box and search for either “Dealer Spike”, “ARI-build”, or “Netdriven”, depending on the Fulfillment Type brand. If the phrase exists in this window, then that is a confirmation that the website is live on the correct platform.
Step 4: Once you have determined if the site is live on the platform or not, you may need to update the status of the Fulfillment Requests associated with the account, and you will also need to update the notes in the Fulfillment Description section as follows:
Site is still not live: The Fulfillment Requests will stay in On Hold status, and you can update the Fulfillment Description with a note that says “(current date) - Site not live. (Rep’s initials)”.
Site is live: The Fulfillment Requests' status is changed to New or In Progress (depending on if any of the fulfillment tasks have been marked completed) and you can update the Fulfillment Description with a note that says “(current date) - Site is live, needs intake. (Rep’s initials)”
Note: You may overwrite previous notes in the Fulfillment Description if they are saying the same thing with just an earlier date attached, but you may want to keep any important notes listed there related to actions previously taken and just add the latest status note at the top.
Step 5: Send a quick message to Katie Hill (katie.hill@leadventure.com) to let her know that the backlog has been audited for the week so that she can update the Backlog Status Report on Friday. And that’s it!
