About

  • Purpose: Provide helpful information about the product to a potential buyer and encourage them to make a purchase.

  • Located: The bottom of an inventory page (example).

  • Common Topics: Manufacturer History, Product Buying Guide, Product Benefits, Model Breakdowns

  • Topics to Avoid: Topics that don’t encourage a purchase or provide information related to a purchase, and would be better suited as an article, such as maintenance tips.

  • Relation to Articles: Because articles and pagefooters are different types of content, there is not a concern about duplicating topics.

    • For example, a dealer’s motorcycle pagefooter talks about the benefits of owning a motorcycle. You could also write an article about the benefits of motorcycle ownership. But you do not want to duplicate the headers. Instead, use one set of motorcycle ownership perks for the pagefooter and a different set of perks for the article.

  • Fulfillment: You can fulfill a pagefooter request using any of the following as long as it meets the requirements:

    • Up for Grabs Content

    • AI-Assisted Content

    • A piece you wrote using a Rewrite Resource

    • A piece you researched and wrote (called an Original)

Requirements

  • Meets Word Count
  • Follows the Style Guide
  • Mentions dealership name, dealership physical location(s), and dealership target location(s).

Usually, this will be placed in the intro and/or outro paragraph

  • Uses target keywords

The most mentioned keyword should be the primary keyword. If the rep provides secondary keywords, aim for using 1-3 from the list.

  • Uses proper formatting
