What On-Page Elements to Optimize

Important Notice

Some of the following courses may have outdated information. However, the process can still be replicated on several tasks, just in their updated format/layout. If there is confusion over a certain course, contact the Trainer as soon as possible.

On LeadVenture websites, there are several fields you need to access in order to post or edit optimized content.

Follow the LMS Course for either (blue star) Dealer Spike or (blue star) ARI for how to provide on-site optimization for all on-page elements on the LeadVenture platform:

Each course contains several topics that you must review. The topics that you will learn about and how to implement on the LeadVenture platform are:

  • URL structures

  • H1s

  • Title tags

  • Meta descriptions

  • FeaturedBanner content

  • Images/Image alt-texts

  • Navigation buttons ((blue star) Dealer Spike-specific)

How to Post on the Platform

Learn how to post content onto the LeadVenture platform by following the LMS Course:

Important Notice

You will need to be logged into the Wilsonville VPN in order to be granted access the backend of the LeadVenture platform to post and edit content.


Tools for Character Limits

As you may have previously learned, in order to maintain the current best SEO practices, there are character limits to the content we write. Please refer to these tools in order to adhere to the character limits we have in place.

For Metadata:

  • How to figure out the character limits to the content we write for the title tag and meta description:

    • Spotibo

      • This is a tool to help you figure out the character length of title tags and meta descriptions. Title tags are roughly supposed to be 60-70 characters while meta descriptions need to be under 160 characters.

For FeaturedBanner:

  • How to figure out the character limits to the content we write for the featuredbanner section:

    • Portent

      • Utilizing the Meta Description field, paste your content here to check out your exact character count. FeaturedBanner content should be below 320 characters overall.
