Setting Up GLP
The GLP can be edited in two locations: the domain node and the dynamic-inventory-detail snippet. The domain node controls both the vehicle listing pages and vehicle detail pages, while the dynamic-inventory-detail snipped only controls the vehicle detail pages. For this reason, it is recommended to only apply GLP changes in the domain node for most purposes.
GLP vs Force GLP
Enabling the “GLP” causes the GLP button to displays only if the DiscountPrice is greater than zero or if ForceDiscountPrice is set to true.
Enabling the “Force GLP” option forces the GLP button to display for all units regardless of the DiscountPrice and ForceDiscountPrice values set for individual units.
Note: In order for the GLP button to display on units that don’t have a DiscountPrice greater than zero, ForceDiscountPrice must be set to true, or the site-level forceGLP property must be set to true.
Enabling GLP
To enable the GLP, navigate to the domain node of the site you want to edit in ICC. Click on the “pricing” tab. Scroll down and check the box beside of “Enable GLP”. “Force GLP” can be enabled by checking the box beside of “Force GLP” below “Enable GLP”.
Customizing GLP Form
By default, the GLP and Force GLP will use the standard InteractRV GLP form. Customizations can be made by copying the default GLP form from the InteractRV forms directory to the working site’s forms folder. Once there, the form can be edited.
Navigate to the site’s domain node and its “Developer” tab to link the GLP to its new form. The Force GLP feature can also be linked to a different form here.
