IRV Blog Posting Guide
This resource is designed to help ensure all IRV blog posts meet our quality standards before posting. Key steps are outlined here to review content for accuracy, SEO optimization, and brand alignment.
Use this guide to streamline the QA process and maintain the high-quality standard our clients expect.
Instructions
First and foremost make sure you have access and edit privileges for the iCC Platform (iCommand Center). If not, please contact your supervisor for access and permissions.
Navigate to the top right corner and open the dropdown menu as seen below:
Once there, select an account to impersonate. In this example we will be using client Fun Town RV.
Once the client has been selected, their dashboard should display.
Note: Some clients are not found directly but rather through the ‘InteractRV’ impersonation>Sites>All Sites.
Once on the client’s dashboard, select from the left side toolbar the option Posts>All Posts.
All posts written by our content creators should have the Author name ‘Interact RV Support’Click the title of a post to review it.
Once in the post editor, you can edit the post: headings, subheadings, text, etc.
In this step make sure to check for any typos, spelling, and/or grammar errors. Also content should match with objective content from client’s Salesforce FWDScroll down past the post to find some SEO tools; make sure that Focus Keyword, SEO title, and Meta description are accurate and match the post content.
Here’s a short list of what to check before posting:Check typos, spelling, grammar.Check that links (if any) are correctly linked.Check that Focus Keyword, SEO title, and Meta description below are filled.Once everything checks, the post is ready to be posted or scheduled.
Posting: Click the ‘Publish’ button on the top right corner of the editor and a set of pre-publish configurator will show up. Make sure that Visibility is set to Public. You can change the date for a previous date if needed. If not, leave the date as is.
Finally, click ‘Publish’ once more.Schedule Post: A post can also be scheduled to be posted automatically at a set date.
Just pick a (future) date and the Publish button should change to Schedule; click on Schedule once it is ready to be scheduled.Note: Scheduling a post will not output a Content Link for Salesforce FWD as the post has not been posted yet. The workaround is to grab the URL for the blog page and paste the URL Slug that iCC outputs.
Example: https://www.funtownrv.com/blog/ [add the URL slug here]
The end result should look something like this: https://www.funtownrv.com/blog/winter-rv-camping-the-ultimate-adventure-awaits/
Finally, check the post on the client’s site. Check one last time that links (if any) work as intended and that all pictures load correctly.
