Follow the instructions to correctly set up some of the essential SEO tools we use complete routine objectives for clients.

 Trello

What is Trello?

Trello is one of our tools that helps our teams manage and track various projects, tasks, and assignments. It improves our workflow so we have seamless communication and collaboration between the SEO, Content Writing, QA, and Juniper teams.

Trello features several workspaces (boards) that SEO Specialists frequently use. Upon joining the team, you will be granted access to the boards that are relevant to your tasks as an SEO Specialist. You can access any of these boards through your account view.


How to Access

Follow the instructions laid out in the FIRST lesson of the Setting Up Trello course in order to gain access to Trello. Please disregard the other lessons that are included in this LMS Course.:

Trello Boards

The Trello boards listed in the LMS Course are outdated. The CURRENT Trello boards you should have access to are:

  • SEO Content Staging Board

  • Content Writing Board

  • Content Posting Board

  • SEO Work & QA Board


Knowledge Check

When you have completed the LMS Course, reach out the to Trainer to schedule a knowledge check. It is important to set this tool up correctly, so further verification is needed to ensure seamless access.

 SEOmonitor

What is SEOmonitor?

SEOmonitor is a platform for tracking and monitoring in-depth keyword performance for clients. This level of data offers insight into organic traffic, SEO forecasting, search interest, rankings, and more. You will utilize this tool daily to make informed decisions on your client campaigns.


How to Access

To begin, the Trainer or Team Lead will add you as an approved member so you may be granted full access to all account information within SEOmonitor. From there, you will need to log into SEOmonitor in order to find client accounts. When prompted, you can choose to sign in with your Google credentials. Lastly, you will be taken to the campaigns dashboard where you can select any of your client accounts:

Navigating and Undertanding SEOmonitor

You will be navigating SEOmonitor further in the later modules. Therefore, you do not need to explore the platform in this step.


Knowledge Check

If you are able to log in successfully, reach out the to Trainer to schedule a knowledge check. It is important that this tool is set up correctly, so further verification is needed to ensure seamless access.

 Notepad++

What is Notepad++?

Dealer Spike Only

Notepad++ is a tool that is Dealer Spike-specific, due to platform coding and formatting.

Notepad++ is a source code editor tool for examining website coding for client websites. Dealer Spike SEO Specialists utilize this tool to alter, remove, and/or replace lines of code or URLs as it relates to SEO functionality.

One crucial feature of Notepad++ is called the FTP window. This allows SEO Specialists to access client folders within Notepad++ to modify, replace, or remove certain lines of code of the website.


How to Access

Follow the LMS Course instructions to correctly set up the FTP window in Notepad++:

Important Note

When you test the “Live” connection, please note that the folders under under Live are currently different than what is displayed in the LMS Course.
