LeadPop is a special type of web form available to dealers. This form displays in a pop-up window when a visitor first clicks on a website link or the search bar. LeadPop can be a simple but effective way to increase inbound leads and give your customers an express route to contacting your store.

To learn more about LeadPop, or to have it added to your website, contact your Customer Success Representative.

How to Enable LeadPop in the ARI CMS

If you have a CMS role that grants you access to Components, you can add the LeadPop form to your website. Here’s how:

  1. In the ARI CMS, navigate to Admin > Account

  2. Under Sites, click Components

  3. On the Components page, scroll to and click on Lead Form

  4. Click on the link labeled + Add a new Lead Form component instance

  5. Click the gear icon on that component instance

  6. Optional, but strongly recommended: Enter LeadPop as the Component Title. This will help you more easily find this component when assigning it to a Layout

  7. In the Form dropdown menu, select LeadPop

  8. Enter a short, descriptive title in the field labeled Customize Form Title

    1. Example: Looking for a vehicle?

  9. Enter a short description in the field labeled Form Message. Keep this message brief to avoid overwhelming or annoying your visitors

    1. Example: Our team of experts is ready to help. Jump start the search by contacting us now.

  10. Configure the additional settings listed under Form Settings, to your preferences.

  11. Component Page Rules: In this section, you can determine where the LeadPop for will display on your website

    1. To have the form apply to all web pages, do not add any pages rules

    2. To have the form apply to a specific page or pages, like Home

      1. Click Add a page rule to your template.

      2. In the Page Rule dropdown menu, select Only Available on…

      3. In the Page field, select the page that applies

      4. Repeat this process for each page where the LeadPop form should display

  12. Legacy Section Rules

    1. If the Sites section of your Account page (Admin > Account) has a button labeled…

      1. …Rows, enter a rule of Allows other components in section and select Main Content.

      2. …Layouts, do not enter any rules

  13. Click Save & Exit

  14. Assign this new instance of the Lead Component to your layout.

    1. Please refer to the documentation on how to add components to a layout

  15. Sales & Lead Management: Proceed to Store > Locations> Sales & Lead Management. Scroll down the page to LeadPop, and add the email address(es) that should receive an email notification when a customer submits a LeadPop form.

  16. Select Publish Changes. The LeadPop form should now be live on your website.
