Here are some ways to generate tools and ideas for generating new content ideas:

Open up the

Rewrite Index

, then go

  • Go to the far right column titled “Article Ideas”. Pick an idea to write about.

  • Type in the keyword into Answer the Public, which will generate a variety of frequently asked questions. Pick a question, then make a content piece that answers that question.

  • Open up the Rewrite Index, then go Go to a different vertical than the keyword’s vertical. See if there is another topic that could apply. For example, your

    • For Example: Your keyword may be “trailer”. By going to the marine vertical, you could find the “Boat - Cost of Ownership” topic and decide to do a “Trailer - Cost of Ownership” piece.

  • Look at the far right column for that vertical in the rewrite index. It contains various ideas.

  • Look at websites that have blogs on that topic.

  • See if there are topics in the index in different verticals that could apply (a Cost of Ownership boat piece, for example, could be a springboard to a Cost of Ownership for a trailer keyword).

  • Ask your teammates

  • Use “Answer the public” to find common questions about the topic, then answer the question
