Here are some ways to generate new content ideas: Open up the Rewrite Index, then go to the far right column titled “Article Ideas”. Pick an idea to write about. Type in the keyword into Answer the Public, which will generate a variety of frequently asked questions. Pick a question, then make a content piece that answers that question. Open up the Rewrite Index, then go to a different vertical than the keyword’s vertical. See if there is another topic that could apply. For example, your keyword may be “trailer”. By going to the marine vertical, you could find the “Boat - Cost of Ownership” topic and decide to do a “Trailer - Cost of Ownership” piece.
Look at the far right column for that vertical in the rewrite index. It contains various ideas. Look at websites that have blogs on that topic. See if there are topics in the index in different verticals that could apply (a Cost of Ownership boat piece, for example, could be a springboard to a Cost of Ownership for a trailer keyword). Ask your teammates Use “Answer the public” to find common questions about the topic, then answer the question.
