In Salesforce, we use the Status and Queue fields to indicate progress. If you are familiar with other task tracking tools such as kanban boards, you may have used columns, where each column indicated the status of the task.
In general, content writers do not change the status of tasks when they pass them to the next queue.
Editing a Status or Queue
Step 1: To edit a Status or Queue field, click on the pencil icon on any field.
Step 2: Click the dropdown menu to select the Status.
Step 3: Click the X to the right of the Queue field to remove the current Queue selection.
Step 4: Begin typing the name of the new Queue.
Step 5: Select the Queue.
Step 6: Click Save.
