Marketing Technology Department

In the Marketing Department, the Technology Department handles a variety of tasks that pertain to the other marketing departments. The team handles research, implementation, and documentation on various aspects of the marketing projects. We will work with the SEO, SEM, and MA managers to ensure the needs of the team are being met, determine the scope of a project, and make sure it continues on schedule in the right direction.  This includes coordinating with internal and external parties for new projects as well as planning next iterations of future ones.

The team will also coordinate necessary training and initial implementation. Selects frameworks and defines front end coding standards for any technologies that will be used. We are responsible for any applications that will execute in the browser, such as HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, and mobile code (e.g. React, JavaScript), to ensure the full user experience can be implemented.

The team manages marketing systems, including third party integrations, outgoing feeds, and stand-alone web applications. The team is responsible for exposing, as web services, the capabilities that are needed for front-end development. The team is responsible for developing and enforcing standards to protect the integrity of those marketing systems, as well as reviewing requests for and implementing new capabilities. 

The team will provide technical support and troubleshooting for the marketing departments as it relates to our third party tools and internal processes developed by the team. This includes managing support for previous projects, assisting with current projects, and researching optimization of future projects. The team is also responsible for directing the project design strategy that puts the user at the heart of the product while maintaining business goals and a competitive advantage. Includes advising and overseeing a project’s execution to keep the team user-focused and creating sustainable projects that advance the company’s objectives.
