This guide covers the process of filling out the Dealer Info template.

Name

This is the exact spelling from the client regarding how they want their dealership name written. It’s found in Question 1 of the intake.

Physical Location(s)

This is where the dealer is physically located.

Be sure to write out the city and state

 Where to Find the Dealer's Physical Location
  1. Open the Dealer’s Account in Salesforce

  2. Scroll Down to “Address Information”

  3. Use the city and state listed in the “Physical Address” section.

Target Location - Primary

This is the most important target location for the dealer. It’s also the location that should be used when making Title Tags. It may or may not be the same as the dealer’s physical location.

It’s found in Question 7 of the intake.

Target Location - Secondary

Additional target location(s) to include in content.

 How to Add the Dealer's Content Folder Link
  1. Open the Google Drive Folder CONTENT: DEALER SPIKE

  2. Pick the Corresponding Letter Folder that matches the first letter of the dealer. For example: Dealers B for the dealer Bob Hewes Boats

    1. If there is not a dealer folder made yet, create one. The format should be “Dealer Name as it appears in Salesforce (State abbreviation of the dealer’s brick and mortar location). For example: Bob Hewes Boats (FL).

  3. Find the dealer’s folder (scroll down or CTL + F)

  4. Right click the folder name, then hover over “share”, then select copy link.

  5. Hyperlink the “Content Folder Link” with the link you just copied.

Delete any previous Chatter posts of the old Dealer Info template

Update the dealer’s checkbox in the Content Update Spreadsheet
