  • If the sitemap shows an error in the status column, the Net Driven SEO team will help diagnose and resolve the issue

    • A common issue is that the sitemap is still using the dev URL, so be sure to check for that first if there is an error. The current URL for the sitemap can be found in the SEO > Sitemap Settings section of the siteā€™s DNN settings

    • Another common issue is that Google cannot read the sitemap. Before submitting a case to the SEO team, try submitting the sitemap URL ā€œSiteMap.aspxā€ - that URL also takes you to the sitemap and can be read by Google instead.

  • If the sitemap is still set to the dev URL, create a support case for the Ignition Web Support queue with the case title ā€œSitemap URL Issueā€ and detail the issue in the case with a screenshot of the DNN settings - similar to what is shown above.

  • If there is not an issue with the sitemap URL, proceed with submitting a support case to the Net Driven SEO queue in Salesforce with the case title ā€œProduction - Search Console Setup Errorā€ and detail the issue in the case. You can then close the production Search Console task and the SEO team will take over resolving the issue.
