Dealer Information - Using the New Client Template

Template Section

What It Is

Name

Located: Question 1 of Intake

This is the exact spelling from the client regarding how they want their dealership name written.

Physical Location(s)

Located: Dealer’s Account In Salesforce, Address Information, Physical Address section.

This is where the dealer is physically located. Be sure to write out the city and state.

This allows writers to Copy-Paste, rather than deal with decoding state abbreviations (which are harder to remember than you might think).

Target Location - Primary

Located: Question 7 of Intake

This is the most important target location for the dealer. It’s also the location that should be used when making Title Tags. Be sure to write out the city and state.

It may or may not be the same as the dealer’s physical location.

Target Location - Secondary

Located: Question 7 of Intake

Additional target location(s) to include in content. Be sure to write out the city and state.

Content Folder Link

  1. Open the Google Drive Folder CONTENT: DEALER SPIKE

  2. Pick the Corresponding Letter Folder that matches the first letter of the dealer. For example: Dealers B for the dealer Bob Hewes Boats

    1. If there is not a dealer folder made yet, create one. The format should be “Dealer Name as it appears in Salesforce (State abbreviation of the dealer’s brick and mortar location). For example: Bob Hewes Boats (FL).

  3. Find the dealer’s folder (scroll down or CTL + F)

  4. Right click the folder name, then hover over “share”, then select copy link.

  5. Hyperlink the “Content Folder Link” with the link you just copied.

This is the Google Drive folder where the dealer’s content is housed.

Fulfillment Work Done Link

Located: Dealer Account, then click Fulfillment Work Done

This is the place where Content Writers will go to find the given Work Done task to paste their completed Google Doc Link.

Dealer Information - Using the Old Trello Client Template

A few key things

  • If dealer has not filled out the new intake form yet, and the relevant information isn’t already in the Chatter using the old dealer info template, put “TBA” (to be announced). This lets us know that the section could be filled out down the road should the dealer fill out the new intake form, rather than the dealer just not having those offerings.

  • Put information in the Any Need To Know Information About Dealership In General (OK If Blank):

  • Additional Services or Departments: What sets them apart from other dealers (if anything)? Ex: slogans, perks, specialties: General Notes:

  • all in the About Us section
