Purpose

Quality Assurance (QA) corrections are done to ensure that we are delivering high-value, errorless work to our clients. Doing so creates credibility and a good user experience for our sites.

Procedure

Inputs:

  • You’ve checked the SEO Monthly sheet and see a “.5” or a “1” in the QA Completed column

 Step 1: Go into the QA Board in Trello and check the client's Trello card to see if there are corrections to be made

 Step 2: Make any neccessary corrections

Here are the scenarios you’ll see on your cards, and what to do when you see them:

1. QA Complete label and a Due Date

  • Corrections needed.

    • After making corrections, check the Due Date box.

2. QA Complete label and All Good label

  • No corrections needed.

    • Good to go; no action needed.

3. Re-Submit label and a Due Date

  • Corrections needed and the card must be re-submitted for further QA. After making corrections:

    • Check the Due Date box

    • Move the card to the QA Resubmissions column

4. Juniper label and a QA Complete or Re-Submit label

  • Corrections needed by Wilsonville rep and Juniper rep. After making corrections:

    • Move the card to the Juniper column. (Do NOT check the Due Date box)

 Step 3: Go back to the Monthly Sheet and add a “1” in the QA Corrections Completed column

Outputs:

  • QA corrections are completed and marked in the monthly sheet.

FAQs

 What does ".5" mean in the QA Completed column?
  • “.5” in the QA Completed column means that the SEO rep's onsite optimization QA is complete, and the QA team just hasn't gotten anything from Juniper. Reps can still perform corrections just as if the column was marked with a “1”
