Overview
Objective
First time RV buying has continued to remain high since interest was sparked during COVID. The RV Buying Journey is a very long and can be arduous process for a new shopper because there are so many different selections to narrow choices from. This tool aids a shopper in finding their perfect RV by asking them questions about how they want to use their RV rather than having to pick through filters. The tool also provides them with content to help them if they’re not sure. This helps shoppers move through the research phase faster and become an interested shopper based on their qualified product interests.
While this tool does not currently provide direct leads for clients, (no form pops up at the end of the shopper guide to collect user information),1. it aids the shopper in their shopping experience. Shoppers arrive at a listing page that will show them units that match the criteria they selected. From there, shoppers will inquire about a specific RV that they were able to find by using the shopper guide.
How Does it Work
The guide is added to the website and CTA’s are created to generate interest in going through the guide in dealer-selectable places on the website. The guide then walks the shopper through the questions, eliminating options as they answer various questions, and returns a list of inventory results from the dealer’s inventory that match their selected criteria.
A user will get to first select whether they want to look for Motorized or Towable products. From there they will get a series of decision tree questions that will guide a user thought an experience that will help them narrow down their selections. With these selections users have the ability to select one or more criteria that they are interested in looking at.
