How can I add a rental booking system to my website?

There are web-based booking systems available, such as WebReserv and Checkfront, that can be easily incorporated into your website to allow customers to reserve your rental products. Both of these systems support payment gateway integration, so that you can even capture deposits and payments online.

WebReserv offers three pricing plans, one of which is free. For additional information, visit http://webreserv.com/features.do

Checkfront offers four pricing plans, as well as a no-risk 21 day trial (no credit card required). For additional information, visit https://www.checkfront.com/plans

The process of adding rentals to your website is virtually the same regardless of which system you use.

  • Once you have subscribed to one of these services, you enter your rental products, rates, rules and configurations into the booking system.
  • After set-up, the booking system can generate the HTML code that can be added to your website.
  • Once you have the code, log into Command Center, create your rentals page and add the HTML to a content asset on that page. If you're not familiar with creating and adding a page in this manner, you can send the HTML code to updates@arinet.com and have the ARI Maintenance Team implement it for you.

Both systems offers dozens of impressive features, so we encourage you to research each option and determine which one best fits your business. Please note, ARI is not a partner or reseller for either of these company's products.  We have simply found that they both provide a good user experience for both rental businesses and their customers alike.

In addition to WebReserv and Checkfront, there are several other web-based booking systems available in the marketplace. If you want to find out if one of these other systems can be integrated with your website, please contact your Territory Manager.
