HD LiveWire Custom Page Template W/ Content

To prepare for the new HD LiveWire, we have created a couple template pages that can be used for SEO and SEM.

Below is the HTML code for an HD LiveWire page. Each bolded section is something we would need to update, either a URL, or text.

Once an SEO rep creates the landing page they need to reach out to support to request that a custom form is created and linked to the buttons on the page. Once finished, please alert the SEM rep if your client has SEM so that SEM will be able to link any LiveWire ads to the page.

To Create a Custom Page on a Dealer Spike Website:

Navigate to your dealer’s admin panel
Click Content → Site Editing → Begin Editing
In the In-line Editor, select New Page

4. Select a Freeform Page and make the page name HD-LiveWire

5. Click Save

6. Back in the Admin panel: select DS Admin → Manage Snippets

7. Change the Default dropdown to Page

8. Find the page you just created

9. Open the Source Code and paste the template from below

10. Update the bold text in the template with

Dealership Name
Dealership Location
Phone number
Image URLs (see below)
Form Fill URL (see below)

11. Save and review the page to make sure formatting is preserved. Reach out to a senior rep or team lead if you need help making adjustments

Adding Images

You will need to take the bolded image URLs and upload them to your dealer’s FTP so the proper domain is associated with each image.

Download the images to your computer
Find your client in FTP using Notepad++ or Atom
Click and drag your downloaded images to the seo subfolder, found under the images folder
Update the image URLs in the template to: /images/seo/{file name of the image}

Example: /images/seo/LiveWire%20Kick%20Stand.jpg

The final thing we need to do is reach out to support so they can create a custom form submission for this page.
