Adding a Tracking Code to ARI Responsive Sites (Domino)

  1. In ARI CMS, go to Account > Components > Tracking Component
  2. If the Tracking Component isn't in the dealer's Component library, proceed to Marketplace and purchase the component.
  3. Create a new instance of the component and click the gear icon to edit
  4. Enter a title for the Component, so that you and others can identify what the component is being used for.
  5. If you have a tracking script that should render in the website head, paste that script into the field labeled "Tracking Code: Header"
  6. If you have a tracking script that should render in the website body, paste that script into the field labeled "Tracking Code: Body"
  7. Do not apply any page rules
  8. Do not apply any section rules
  9. Save the component
  10. Go to “Account” and view the site options
  11. If the theme type for the site is “Rows”, proceed to step 21
  12. If the theme type is “Layouts”, select “Layouts”
  13. Select the “Homepage” layout
  14. Go to the Footer section and expand it
  15. Click “Add Row” and select the first preset option
  16. Click the row to expand it
  17. Click “Add Element”
  18. Find the Tracking Component in the component list and select it
  19. If the Footer section displays a link icon  after the “Footer” title, proceed to step 21
  20. At the top of the page, click “List”, then select “Internal Page Layout”
  21. Repeat steps 13-17
    1. In rare circumstances, there may be more than two layouts listed in Layout Manager. If the Footer sections are not linked and shared between those layouts, If there is another layout(s) in the record, select it add the component to them by repeating steps 19 and 20
    2. Publish Changes
    3. If you are on the Duluth network, clear site cache and go to the site. View page source to verify scripts are in placeIf you are not on the Duluth network, go to the site and append the URL with /?nocache (example: www.powerbarn.com/?nocache). View page source to verify scripts are in place.
