Fluency: Adding New Accounts

To add a new advertising account to Fluency (that has already been created in Google Ads/Facebook/Microsoft Advertising):

  1. Navigate to the Manage section within Fluency.

  2. Click the "+ Add” button on the right-hand side.

  3. Enter in all appropriate information for the client.

    1. The 'Account ID' field should be left blank, as Fluency will auto-fill that once it creates the account.

  4. Click the save button.

  5. Refresh the page to locate in the Account table.

To add a new advertising channel (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing or Facebook):
  1. Locate and save the appropriate ad channel reference id for the account.

  2. Navigate to the manage section within Fluency.

  3. Select the account.

  4. Go to 'Account Settings'.
  5. Within the settings menu, locate and select the "Partner Config" tab.
  6. Enter the ID.

  7. Save the account (once saved ID can not be changed).

  8. Click the Pull button to pull in the account data. If not clicked data will pull automatically later.

  9. View the Reverse Syncing progress under the activity tab.

To add inventory data:

  1. Navigate to the manage section within Fluency.

  2. Select the account.

  3. Go to 'Account Settings'
  4. Select 'Blueprints' then 'Custom Data' sub-tab. 

  5. Enter a List Name of inventory (it is important that this value is all lower case).

  6. Enter in a Polling Source.

    1. For Dealer Spike this is commonly https://www.DomainName.com/feeds.asp?feed=DigitalMarketingFeed (domain name will need to be entered for the desired client and tested)

  7. Click "Test Endpoint" to ensure data is received by the Fluency system.

  8. Save.
