Off-Boarding Clients

Sometimes clients leave the program. After a client has completed the escalation process and they are officially cancelling, we need to take some steps to ensure we have removed them from our tools and tracking. Once it's become evident that a client has talked to Amy and gone through the escalation process and still wants to cancel, we will go through the Off-Boarding process.

1. Confirm with a team lead that the client is in fact officially cancelling our MA package. We don't want to jump the gun and cancel a package that can still be saved.

2. Remove the SharpSpring MA Tracking Code from the client's website.

Remember to save and check the site after editing.

3. Remove the client's sub-account from Sharp Spring

Log into Dealer Spike's agency account and go to "Manage Clients". Select your client that is cancelling and select "Remove Client"

4. Remove Config variable for the admin panel "Single Sign On" access point. Located in config.asp it's tough to spot but you are looking for;

SAT_ENABLE_MARKETING_AUTOMATION = True

5. Remove their JSON snippet from the website admin panel.

When you are in their admin panel, go to "DS Admin" --> "Manage Snippets"... then select "JSON-Snippet" then "jsonLeadProvidersQueue". This is a very tricky step, especially if there are two snippets in this area. I would highly suggest requesting help with this step. Either grab a lead or ask someone in support. High chance of it not working if the brackets are replaced in the correct manner.

Just go ahead and delete the entire row. Remember to save after editing.

6. Delete any cards on the design board that are currently in progress or yet to be worked on, so we don't waste any designer time.

7. Fill in the "Cancelled Clients** row in our client tracking Google Sheet; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1drqFl9vBLcZ0SMGwA5LG5fiYbYpuIYt8UBem_Xi15V0/edit#gid=1590151247
