List Setup
Some lists are standard across all dealers and some will vary wildly based on the vertical and what the dealer carries. Always use your best judgment when figuring out what lists are needed.
Creating a List
Head to the contact drop-down and select "Lists"
Select the gear icon in the top right and select "+ New List"
Fill out the info in the pop-up window.
Name: The name of your list. It should be obvious at a glance what the list is about
Description: A brief description about the list
Folder: If a relevant folder exists, select it
Select Rules Based as all of our initial lists will be curated based on rules we setup
Select "Create List"
List Attributes
For the purpose of this guide, all of our lists will be Dynamic and we will want to apply the list to contacts we already have. It's likely there won't be too many when you're setting up your first set of lists but just in case.
Your triggers will vary based on the list but will be straight-forward for our initial setup.

Adding Pageview Triggers
Now we’re going to add the page view trigger.
Look at the inventory segment we’re working on. For this example, we’re in Abernathy’s Cycle’s ATV list.
Navigate to the client’s website and look for the relevant pages for that inventory segment. There will likely be 2-4 pages for each: A showroom page and up to 3 (All, New, Used) inventory list pages.
If there is a link to the inventory from the homepage, use that link.
For example, Abernathy’s Cycle’s homepage has a link to the ATV inventory showroom page:
https://www.abernathycycles.com/atvs-for-sale-in-tennessee-alabama-missouri-dealer--subinventory-atv
So we will need to go to the inventory list pages to get to the ATV inventory pages
Navigate to the “New Inventory” page and look for a link to the ATV page.
Take the link, and copy everything up until the “#”. This will be your inventory list page link
Will become:
If one doesn’t exist, use the sort options to sort the ATV inventory.
You will likely get a link that looks like this: https://www.abernathycycles.com/new-motorcycles-atv-utv-for-sale-tennesee-missouri-kentucky-dealer--xnewinventory#page=xnewinventory&vt=atv
Remove the “#page=xnewinventory” and replace the “&” before the sort variable with “?”
You should end up with https://www.abernathycycles.com/new-motorcycles-atv-utv-for-sale-tennesee-missouri-kentucky-dealer--xnewinventory?vt=atv
You may have noticed that the button link led to an “xallinventory” page while our manually-created link is “xnewinventory”
We will need an inventory list page link for all three inventory pages. xallinventory, xnewinventory, and xpreownedinventory.
If there’s no used inventory, skip that link.
Once you have all of your links, we are going to add the triggers.
For Abernathy’s Cycle, we end up with:
https://www.abernathycycles.com/atvs-for-sale-in-tennessee-alabama-missouri-dealer--subinventory-atv
Set the trigger options as follows:
First drop-down should be “Add the Trigger”
When a contact “Visits the page”
Paste one of the URLs and add a * at the end of the URL
2 times
Or more
Then click “Add rule”
Repeat for all relevant VT links
The final should look something like this
Remember to SAVE your changes.
Repeat for Vehicle Type Lists, Vehicle Category Lists, Manufacturer Lists, and HD Family Lists
