Search Page: Adding Custom Page/HTML Titles to Filtered Search Results

It's possible to add custom page titles and custom HTML titles to search results pages. Here's how you do it:

Please Note 1: You must be a Dealer Administrator in order to make these configurations.

Please Note 2: Customized HTML Titles are always appended with your Company Name, City, Two-letter State Abbreviation, and Primary Telephone Number

  1. In the ARI CMS, go to Admin > Account > Components
  2. Scroll to the Search Component (NOT the Search Bar Component) and click the gear icon
  3. Under the area labeled Custom SRP Titles, you can make the following configurations...
    1. Global Title: An entry into this field will be used as the Search Page's default HTML and Page title
      1. When left blank the HTML and Page titles as defined for the Search Page under Page Management are used
    2. Add Custom Title: The two fields listed are used to define a custom Page Title and HTML Title for a specific variation of the Search Results Page
      1. Search URL Title: Enter the title as you want it to display for both locations (Page Title & HTML Title)
        1. Example: John Deere Riding Mowers
      2. Search URL: Enter the RELATIVE URL for the page.
        1. Example: /search/inventory/brand/John%20Deere/class/Riding
          1. Note: The RELATIVE URL is the link to the page MINUS your domain name and TLD
            1. Example: If the page URL is www.yourdomain.com/search/inventory/brand/John%20Deere/class/Riding, remove www.yourdomain.com from that path before pasting it into the field
    3. Click the green + button
    4. Repeat these steps for each custom page title that you wish to add
  4. Once done, scroll down and select Save
  5. Publish Changes. The custom Page/HTML Titles for the pages you've configured will be applied to your website.
