Step 1 - Download Template
Download and open the Compatible File Template which is in the blue hyperlink.
For this template and any others in the E-Commerce platform, make sure that you review the developer notes so that you can ensure that your file meets the required specifications.

Step 2 - Populate Template With Your Data
This template has five (5) columns, ALL of which are mandatory. Below we offer an explanation of what each column header represents.
Catalog.name
The name of the catalog. For this segment we are using PRIVATE (yes, all caps)
DistributorPart.distributor_sku
The MPN of the Private Catalog Product
DealerInventory.quantity
The quantity that you have on hand.
Note: The software will detect when you make a sale on the webstore and decrement your shelf inventory automatically. What it can’t do is recognize if a sale occurred on your sales floor, unless of course you have integrated with CDK Lightspeed or Lizzy.
DealerInventory.lead_time
If someone buys the product from your webstore, how many days do you need to get a tracking number to the buyer? Put that value here.
DealerInventory.sale_price
How much do you want to sell the product for? Put that value here.

Step 3 - Upload Your Data
Back to the user interface under File Center. When you click "Client: Import Shelf Quantities" you will see "Choose File" next to File Upload. Click this button to locate the file on your computer. Double click your file and it will be ready to go.
Enter your email address if you want to be notified when the job is complete. (optional).
Click Submit

Step 4 - Monitor Job Processing
You will want to monitor the Import that you just ran in File Center. The job will be in a Pending or Processing status until the software has completed it. These jobs typically take 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the CSV file.
